What the free SEO analyzer checks
Our free SEO analyzer runs the same on-page diagnosis that browser extensions like SEOquake show – but you do not need to install anything. It loads the page from our server in Switzerland and checks more than 25 points:
- On-page: title, meta description, H1 and heading structure, word count, text/HTML ratio, image alt texts, canonical, indexing, language and hreflang
- Technical: mobile viewport, doctype, encoding, favicon, HTML size, response time, HSTS, robots.txt and XML sitemap
- Social and structured data: Open Graph, Twitter/X card and schema.org markup
- Keyword density: the most frequent one-, two- and three-word phrases and whether they appear in the title, description or H1
How to read your score
Each check is marked as passed, warning or error; the score from 0 to 100 summarises them. A score above 80 is a good technical basis. But a high score alone does not guarantee rankings: content, links and local signals decide the rest. The analyzer looks at one page at a time – analyze your home page and your most important service pages separately.
Free SEO analyzer for Swiss websites
For Switzerland, two points deserve extra attention: hreflang, if your site has German, French, Italian or English versions, and the language attribute (for example de-CH or fr-CH). Read why in our guide to the Swiss search market.

Frequently asked questions
Is the SEO analyzer really free?
Yes. There is no sign-up and no limit for normal use. Results for the same address are cached for one hour.
Why does the analyzer show an error for my site?
Some sites block automated requests or need too long to answer. In that case, send us the address and we check it by hand.
Do you store the pages I analyze?
The report is cached for one hour to avoid loading your site again and again. If you leave the box ticked, the website address, title and score appear on the public wall of recently checked websites. Untick it to keep your check private, or email us to have a site removed.
Is this the same as SEOquake?
It is similar to the SEOquake page diagnosis and keyword density, but runs online without a browser extension.
