The free business listing on Google Search and Maps with address, opening hours, photos and reviews.
Also called: GBP, Google My Business, Google Maps listing
A Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) is needed to appear in the local pack and on Google Maps. It is verified by Google, often with a video or postcard.
Categories, services, photos, posts and reviews all influence how often the profile is shown.
Why Google Business Profile matters in Switzerland
International companies with Swiss offices often have no profile or an unverified duplicate. Every Swiss location should have its own verified profile, in the language of the region.
Our tip
Create one profile per real Swiss location – never for addresses without staff or customer access.
